Recent Economic History In Pictures - (Videopro's Tickerforum Collection)
Part satirical, part tragic comedy and above all entirely spoken with hard to fathom truth. This collection of pictures composed by the ticker-forum member 'videopro' displays the chronology of the current economic crisis.

Treasury Secretary Geithner's November 1, 2009 Meet The Press interview exhibits volumes of deceptive body language. Each image, a frame grab at the moment of many deceptive replys

If America's laws against treason and theft were actually enforced.

Because America does NOT enforce existing laws against treason and theft by the banking regulators and corporate thieves, taxpayers money meets the inevitable result.

As markets plunged in the final days of the Bush Administration, nary a single useful action to save the economy could be found.

As markets plunged in later 2008 Ben Bernanke and Henry Paulson's desperate and dysfunctional policies set the stage for future 'Wyle E. Coyote' moments.

Without an apparent single consideration to the effect on taxpayers or wage earners, the Poo Poodles George Bush and Ben Bernanke, who's handlers being big corporations and lobbying groups, metaphorically broke into everyone's home and took a dump on your floor. Then, they stole your cash, slipped back out the dog door, handing it over to the big banks. Strategies they weren't. Thieves, they are.

Wall Street firms went on a orgy of extreme money leverage, turning pennies of value into skyward pillars of false wealth. Now, the columns have come crashing down. Hundreds of billions of taxpayers bailout dollars hardly warrant a drop in a bucket against the enormous deflationary result.

Debate in Congress over spending unprecedented amounts of taxpayer bailout money proceeded against a firestorm of public protest. Citizens unleashed a tsunami of email, fax and in-person appeals. They were soundly ignored. The money was thrown away. Congress went on about it's work on behalf of corporations.... unscathed.
